1. The Two RV Gypsies wintered in Broward
County Florida from Thanksgiving 2012 through Easter 2013 - Photos are posted of holidays with family and friends - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, Karen's 7-pound birthday lobster, Anthony singing, Chinese New Year Party, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day - (see Karen as the green Irish Angel) and win the Easter Bonnet contest.

2. January 27, 2013 - Karen and Lee and other family members went canoeing amongst alligators and turtles (three separate days) at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, Florida. |
3. February 7-8, 2013, The two RV Gypsies went to Chiefland, Florida to meet Karen's friend from high school. They went to Manatee Springs State Park to see manatees, Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge to see wildlife, and they had some award winning New England Clam Chowder. Photos are posted. |
4. May 7-9, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to North Fort Myers Florida to visit their sister-in-law who was in Hospice. From there, they went to Englewood, Florida to visit friends. Check out the painted dolphins, painted sea turtles, Zeke's Restaurant, and more. |

8. May 20-21, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to visit Karen's relatives in Gaffney, S.C. and saw the Big Peach water tower at Millwood Park, plus Lee toured the freight liner factory. |

10. May 25, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Mayberry USA, a fictional community that was the setting for two popular American television sitcoms, The Andy Griffith Show and Mayberry R.F.D. Mayberry was also the setting for a 1986 reunion television movie titled Return to Mayberry. Mayberry was set in and based on Andy Griffith's hometown of Mount Airy, North Carolina. The two RV Gypsies met Russell Hiatt the real barber at Floyd's Barber Shop, on whom the fictional character Floyd was based. |
11. May 26, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to High Shoals Falls in South Mountains State Park in North Carolina and hiked the shortest trail to the waterfall. |
12. May 28-29, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Tennessee, and went to the Doe River Covered Bridge, Blue Hole Falls in Carter County, and Sycamore Shoals State Historic Area in Elizabethton, and they also saw lot of big oddities in Tennessee. |
13. May 30 - June 5, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Kentucky, and hiked to Anglin Falls in Berea, visited Old Town Artist Village to see the 6-foot tall painted hands, and then on to Cumberland Gap National Park. They also hiked to the Chained Rock, took a Segway tour of Louisville and more. |
14. June 7 - 13, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Michigan and visited Karen's cousins Cindy and Bruce, who gave them a guided tour of Detroit, took them to a target range, and then they went to Frankenmuth. Then the two RV Gypsies traveled to Port Huron and St. Clair, and took a side trip into Port Edward, Ontario. |
15. June 13, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies took a day-trip from Port Huron, Michigan to Point Edward, Ontario, Canada. |
16. June 14 - 16, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies drove to Oscoda, Michigan and explored the Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, the Tawas Point Lighthouse, the Old Bailey School, Au Salde Harbor Pier and Oscoda Township Beach Pier and more. |
17. June 18, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies drove to Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island, and visited 2 lighthouses and more. |
18. June 19, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies took a day trip on M-119, the Tunnel of Trees and stopped at Cross Village, Good Hart, Harbor Springs, and Traverse Bay. While in Michigan, the two RV Gypsies got filmed to be in a documentary on PBS to be shown in early August 2013 in Michigan and several other nearby states, plus parts of Canada. |
19. June 21, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario, Canada and parked their RV at a KOA. They they drove their truck around sight-seeing and enjoyed Chippewa Falls, Pancake Bay, a downtown park, and more. |
20. June 22, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies drove back over the bridge and went to Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan and toured the Tower of History, then they drove to Tahquamenon Falls State Park to see waterfalls, and then back to Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan to take a boat tour of the locks. Then they returned to their RV in Ontario. |
21. June 22, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies drove their RV to Wawa in Ontario, Canada and saw beautiful waterfalls and more. |

23. June 25-26, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Nipigon, Ontario and went to Eagle Canyon Suspension Bridges (300 feet and 600 feet long) the longest in Canada. They also went to Ouimet Canyon. |
24. June 27-28, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and they went to the Terry Fox Monument, the Boulevard Lake Fishery, Silver Islet, Thunder Bay Lookout, Kakabeka Falls and more. |
25. June 29, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies returned to the United States. Their first stop in the USA was at Grand Marais, Minnesota. (They were also here last year). They took a short ride to Temperance State Park, and enjoyed the waterfall and gorge that was absolutely marvelous and amazing. |
June 30, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went tot Jan's RV Park in Leeds, North Dakota. This will NOT be on the map above, but comments about the RV park and a few photos are posted. 26. July 1, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Bemidji, Minnesota and saw several Roadside America attractions such as Boxy Bunyan and Babe. Then they went to Itasca State Park where the Mississippi River begins, Karen climbed a 100-foot tall Fire Tower, and walked across the Mississippi Headwaters. Amazingly the water was not even cold. A great experience. |
27 - July 3-4, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went back to Canada - but this time in Saskatchewan. They also did not have any Wi-Fi. Castle Butte was amazing. |
July 5, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies arrived back in the USA - in Montana. and stayed at Cottonwood RV Park. This will NOT be on the map above. No photos were taken, but you can read about the park from here. |

28 - July 7 -8, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Hungary Horse, Montana near Glacier National Park. They arrived too late on the 7th to do much, and since they had already been to Glacier National Park, they decided to do some white water rafting. It rained with thunder and lightning and there was even Hailed on them while they were rafting. |
29 - July 9 -10, 2013 The two RV Gypsies went to Idaho's panhandle, parked at Blue Lake RV Resort in Naples, Idaho, a really nice RV park, and went to the Moyie Springs Overlook, Bonners Ferry, and Myrtle Falls. |
July 11 -12, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to a Thousand Trails Little Diamond KOA in Newport, Washington. While here, they drove back into Idaho to Hunt Creek Falls and Granite Falls. 30 - July 13-14, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to a Thousand Trails Crescent Bar Resort in Quincy, Washington. They rented a jet ski and had fun on the Columbia river, then they went to Grand Coulee Dam for a night-time laser show. On the way to the Coulee Dam, they came across the amazing Dry Falls, and the Windmill Garden. |
31 - July 15-16, 2013- The two RV Gypsies drove to Leavenworth, Washington and enjoyed the Alpine / Bavarian town of Leavenworth. |

33 - July 21- 22, 2013- The two RV Gypsies went to Ocean Shores, Washington. It was only 60 degrees and windy by the ocean. |
34 - July 23, 2013- The two RV Gypsies went to Long Beach, Washington and saw some of the World's Largest oddities. It was only 55 degrees and windy by the ocean. |
35- July 24, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Seaside, Oregon and the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, plus the saltworks, and saw some Bigfoot carvings and more. |

38 - July 31, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies (plus Karen's sister Ilse) took a one-day side trip to Florence, Oregon to see the Sea Lion Cave, Heceta Head Lighthouse and beach, Strawberry Hill, Cape Perpetua and the South Jetty Beach Sand Dunes. Ilse returned to California on August 1, 2013. She is already missed. |
39 - August 2 - 3, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies drove their RV to Bend-Sunriver Thousand Trails in Bend, Oregon and took side trips to Benham Falls, Lava River Cave, and Newberry National Volcanic Monument to see the Lava Butte. |
40 - August 4, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies took a side trip in their truck to Crater Lake National Park to see the amazingly beautiful Crater Lake, and learn about Pinnacles. |
41- August 5-6, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies drove their RV to Burns, Oregon and stayed at Crystal Crane Hot Springs. This was two relaxing, quiet and peaceful days. Hot Springs and campground all-in-one! |
August 7, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies made a one-night stopover at Boise Meridian KOA in Meridian, Idaho. This will NOT be on the map above, but you can read about the campground. |
42 - August 8-9, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Bruneau Dunes State Park to play on the sand dunes. Check them out as they fall to the ground, laughing their heads off. They also went to C.J. Strike Dam. |
43- August 10-11, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho. They spent time at the very lovely hot springs, plus went tubing down the Portneuf River which has mini-falls. That was quite an adventure.

NOTE: Several one or two-night stops must be made so that the two RV Gypsies can get from Idaho to South Dakota in time to see Terry Fator, one of the most talented entertainers of today. He is a singing ventriloquist that can impersonate both male and female singers with unbelievable talent. |

46 - August 15, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Buffalo, Wyoming and met another full-time RV couple and had a nice time talking with them about travels. The outside of their motorhome is amazing and must be seen. The two RV Gypsies also photographed deer and antelope in Clearmont, Wyoming. |
47 - August 16-17, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to northeast Wyoming to see Devils Tower (the nation's first National Monument). It is actually the core of a volcano exposed after millions of years of erosion brought on by the Belle Fourche River and the weather. These photos and history are not to be missed. |

49 - August 21, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Pierre, South Dakota and walked around Capitol Lake to see several war memorials, and a lot of beautiful flowers. |
50 - August 22-23, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota to see Terry Fator for the second time. Terry Fator is a very talented singing ventriloquist who impersonates both famous male an female singers through puppets without moving his lips. Karen is possibly Terry Fator's #1 fan because she is in awe of his talent. |

August 25-26-27, 2013 The two RV Gypsies spent time in Beatrice, Nebraska with family and stayed at Chautauqua Park. This is NOT on the map above but there is a page of notes and photos on the Chautauqua Park where they stayed.
August 28, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies stayed one-night at Topeka / Capital City KOA in Topeka, Kansas. This is NOT on the map above but there is a page of notes and photos on the campground.
August 29, 2103 - The two RV Gypsies stopped for one night at Kansas City East KOA in Oak Grove, Missouri. No photos were taken here, but the two RV Gypsies wrote a bit about their brief stay there.

55- September 7-8, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Lebanon, Indiana to visit their maid-of-honor, who was also Karen's best friend when she was in the U.S. Navy and stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. They took a kayak trip at Turkey Run State Park. |

September 24-24, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies relaxed at Thousand Trails Hershey Preserve campground in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, so Karen could recover from a temporary knee injury.
Karen relaxed in the indoor hot tub. Although two days was not enough for Karen's knee to completely recover, they continued on to visit friends in Maryland. No photos at the campground.

63 - September 25- 28, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Maryland to visit several friends in various cities. Their friend Barbara took them to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, then they went to a Fall Festival with Karen's cousin Christine and her husband Jim. They they visited their friends MaryAlice and Don for dinner. |

66 - October 2 - 9, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Connecticut to visit family and friends. They also enjoyed the fall colors, waterfalls, sculptures, and more. |
67 - October 10, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Accord, New York and stayed at the Rondout Valley KOA, then went to the Walkway over the Hudson State Historic Park and walked the Poughkeepsie-Highland Bridge which is a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, then they stopped at Minnewaska State Park and enjoyed some fall colors, then they drove to High Falls, and more. |

70 - October 14-15, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies went to Willamsport, Maryland and hiked a strenuous hike to Cunningham Falls, plus they went to Washington Monument State Park (beware of the disgusting bugs at the monument). |
October 16, 2013 - Here are some travel photos taken as the two RV Gypsies drove from Maryland, through West Virginia, then into Virginia, and stopped for one-night at Charlottesville KOA in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was a rainy day, so they did not do anything in the area, but they did make a few comments about the KOA campground. |

Bridge in Virginia. They had previously been here in 2001. |

October 21, 2013 The two RV Gypsies make a one-night stop at Four Oaks Lodging and RV Resort in Four Oaks, North Carolina. They did not do anything in the area, but they did make a few comments about the campground. |
73 - October 22-24, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies made a three-night stop at Sycamore Lodge - Travel Resorts of America in Jackson Springs, North Carolina. It is a nice campground, and very big. There should be something there for everyone. |
October 25, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies headed south into South Carolina and spent one night at PointSouth KOA at I-95 and U.S. 17 in Yemassee. They did not unhook their toad nor go anyplace. Comments on this campground and all other campgrounds the two RV Gypsies have visited can be found by choosing the TOC button at the top of this page, then choosing the Campgrounds button. Because Lee needs to get both knees replaced, they are heading back to South Florida early this year, so they did several other one-night stops as listed below. |
