PointSouth KOA at I-95 and US 17
SPECIAL COMMENTS and PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS OF THE TWO RV GYPSIES

The Oaks at Point South sign
Swimming Mermaid

October 25, 2013- The two RV Gypsies stopped at PointSouth KOA in Yemassee, South Carolina for a one night stop. The campground had unsecured Wi-Fi which was very fast, good water pressure, full hook-ups, and Cable TV with a great TV Guide channel.

The roads in the campground were dirt roads. A few trains came by at night blowing their horns, but they were not real loud. Although it was very close to I-95, the road noise wasn't bad.

The Swimming Mermaid Coffee House and Wine Bar had wine tasting in the evening at a cost of $6 a person. Laundry open 7 A.M. to 9 P.M. only, same hours as the little office store. It was not a big campground, so be sure to make reservations. Even though it was October, there were no Halloween decorations.

The above comments are just the experience of the two RV Gypsies. These comments do not make the campground good or bad in general.
