Stew Leonard's Grocery Store was dubbed the Disneyland of Dairy Stores by the New York Times, because of its own milk processing plant, costumed characters, scheduled entertainment, petting zoo and animatronics throughout the stores. There are lots of food samples throughout the store, so you can graze for hours if you so choose. For every $100 you spend at one time, you get a free ice cream.Karen Duquette saw a costumed cow character and actually danced with the cow. Lee did not take a picture. |
