at Hancock Brook Lake |
On the way back from hiking at Buttermilk Falls the two RV Gypsies saw a sign for Hancock Brook Lake and since they are always free to diversify from their planned destination, they stopped to enjoy the view. | |
Hancock Brook Lake
is 630 feet in length, 57 feet high with a base width of 305 feet, top width
of 20 feet and elevation of 505 feet to the top of the dam. The stream side
environment provides excellent hiking, hunting, canoeing and fishing opportunities.
Feeder streams are stocked with brown, brook and rainbow trout by the state. |
