by the side of the road and the elk shown below came and looked right
in their car window (which was closed).They were very glad it did not
get aggressive because they could not move the car that quickly.
These animals could even attack a car, if they chose to do so. |

The last time
that Lee and Karen Duquette were in Jasper
in 2009. they saw more deer and more elk in big groups, but they
were still thrilled to such big elk on this trip. They also returned
to other parts of Alberta
Canada in 2016. |
