This is a pleasant, peaceful, wooded campground. Almost every site was surrounded on three sides by woods. This is a Thousand Trails campground, and the two RV Gypsies usually like Thousand Trails campgrounds because they get to drive around and pick their own site. However, the roads here were narrow and curvy, so the RV Gypsies picked the first available site they came to that had full hook-ups. There are a limited number of sewer sites. 50 amp sites are hard to get and if you do find one, there is a $5 a day extra charge. The campground asks that you pick a site that is size-appropriate for your RV. In other words, if you have a small RV, don't take a larger, wider site. Sites are very hard to maneuver getting in and out of the sites.

The only Wi-Fi spot is around the Activity Center. Only 4 TV stations came in via antenna, and they were worthless. They ask that you use water only as needed, please do not waste water. The water pressure was very low, hard to even shampoo and rinse long hair in the shower. There is an adult lounge and a dry sauna, and honey wagon service. No food or beverages of any kind allowed at pool, not even plastic water bottles. Adult hours at the pool were 10 am-11 am, and 4 p.m. to 5pm. The two RV Gypsies think adult hours should be the last hour of the evening before the pool closes, which should be 9 - 10 p.m. The kids do not need the late hours. Check out time is NOON for campsites.

Just down the road outside the campground are great sand dunes to climb. The two RV Gypsies did climb them, and photos are available from TOC button above: USA 2009 sub-menu.
