The two RV Gypsies had their RV in repair in Hagerstown, MD but had to drive to the Apple Store in Bethesda Maryland. After being in town for most of the afternoon, they headed back to get a hotel in Hagerstown, but traffic was horrible, so they stopped at the Super 8 Hotel in Frederick, Maryland.
There was limited parking in the hotel parking lot.
The
two RV Gypsies were not impressed with the hotel, but they just did
not feel like driving any further. The man at the check-in counter had
no personality, actually, he was almost rude. The room was on the first
floor and had a sliding glass door leading into the parking lot. When
Karen Duquette went to open the sliding glass door, she discovered that
it was NOT even locked. She was glad she discovered that before they
retired for the night.
The TV was very small. The room did not have a dresser.. The refrigerator
did not close tightly unless Lee Duquette wiggled the door and pushed
hard to close it tightly. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were terrible.
The toilet did not have a cover on it. Karen Duquette hates looking
at a toilet with no cover.
The hotel was not as clean as it should be either. The free breakfast
was terrible, so the two RV Gypsies did not eat there the second morning.
They only checked in for two nights because their RV was in repair.
When they discovered their RV would take longer to repair, they went
to a different hotel. NO, they would not ever stay at this Super 8 again. |
