The two RV Gypsies at Louisville South KOA
in Shepherdsville, Kentucky
June 2 - 5, 2013

This is a nice KOA campground. The cable TV had plenty of stations that came in clearly. The Wi-Fi was available at sites, and it was secured, however it was slow to connect to the internet, but once it did connect, it worked OK. The roads are not paved, which is not unusual. Karen's favorite part of this campground is the indoor hot tub for adults only. Both the pool and the hot tub closed at 10 p.m. That is one-hour later than most KOA's. However, after using the hot tub only twice, Karen came out of the hot tub itching. The water pressure was real good here, perhaps the best of any of the parks that the two RV Gypsies have been to. This KOA has a hiking trail that goes alongside a river to a Rock Cave, and it is a very easy trail. This is the second time the two RV Gypsies have been at this KOA.

The trail ends, so Lee waits at the bottom of the stairs while Karen investigates. At the top of the stairs there is a gate that says "private property - beware of dog" and as Karen hears the dog bark, she quickly descends back to the bottom of the stairs.

So the two RV Gypsies walk past the Rock Cave again and return to the campground.

After the two RV Gypsies return to their RV, Karen spends time relaxing in the indoor hot tub.
