 The
infamous Bobby Leach plunged over the Falls in a steel barrel on July 25,
1911. Bobby broke both kneecaps and his jaw during his daring event. Years
later while touring in New Zealand, Bobby slipped on an orange peel and
died from complications due to gangrene ! (Maybe Annie,
Bobby and all people should think twice about plunging over the falls) |

Falls Daredevils are posted here, but there is more stuff below. |

 Nikola Tesla,
an inventor, mechanical engineer, and electrical engineer was an important
contributor to the birth of commercial electricity, and is best known for
his many revolutionary developments in the field of electromagnetism in
the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Tesla's patents and theoretical
work formed the basis of modern alternating current (AC) electric power
systems, including the polyphase system of electrical distribution and the
AC motor. His statue is located just outside the entrance to the Wind of
      the Caves. |

| Below: At the end of the tour, the bus driver called this the Turtle Building. The two RV Gypsies did not take the time to explore it further because they were focusing on things that Alex would enjoy. It is a former Native American Museum built in 1981. If viewed from the air it would look to be shaped like a turtle. the part shown below is the face. | |

| Below; Lockport, New York and someone's mailbox, both sides of the mailbox were identical and resembled a Nikon camera. Since Karen Duquette was using a big Nikon camera on this trip, she found the mailbox interesting. | |
