| at Suwannee Music Park |
RVing is exciting and full of adventure.
|
| The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is a vacation destination for 100's of thousands of people each year. Located on the banks of the Historic Suwannee River, this 800+ acre park is full of wildlife, and is covered in Spanish moss draped forest, bounding with activities from bird watching and canoeing to live concerts and performances to pickin' circles and music camps. |
| On May 12, 2008 - Lee and
Karen Duquette, the two RV Gypsies, bicycled throughout the Suwannee Music
Park, then took a canoe trip down the Suwannee River, (of course Lee Duquette
had to sing the Suwannee River song) then they had a wonderful dinner
with candlelight and wine, followed by a karaoke party at the park in
the evening (no, the two RV Gypsies did not sing). This park had live
entertainment and big stars performing from time-to-time. (But of course,
anything can change as time passes) |
RV Gypsy life is definitely the
way to go! |
|
Most of the time here, there was no internet connection, and if there was connection, it was too slow to even bother with. A phone connection was also hard to achieve. No TV either. But, there were some great photo opportunities and lots of fun! - scroll down to see and enjoy! |

Notice that it
was off-season for campgrounds. The two RV Gypsies thought that it was
wonderful to have space to themselves to take photos without other people
in the picture. |
