Below you will find historical trees, a wild gopher tortoise (a species in decline), an alligator at Lake Louisa, beautiful Cypress Trees, butterflies and solitude, wild birds, deer moss in the swamp, and more! Plus information on Thousand Trails Campground in Clermont, Florida (the RV Park for the two RV Gypsies when they visit their son, Brian Duquette who lives in Orlando).

Scary stuff! - The two RV Gypsies - not the flags. LOL
Below: Karen Duquette in the hot tub, enjoying peace and relaxation in the evening. This is the life of an RV Gypsy! What a great beginning to a new life! And she was all by herself, which made it so much nicer. |
|
Below: Karen Duquette in the pool (off season) - peace, quiet, relaxing. And she had the entire pool and hot tub to herself with no one else around at 9 p.m. |

Below; Thousand Trails Campground
in Clermont, Florida is a membership park. When the two RV Gypsies first
joined the park in 2008 (the above photos), they got
to drive through the park and pick their own site, which is one of the
many benefits. In 2014 the two RV Gypsies found out that RVers no longer picked their own site at this campground and the campground had a lot of full-timers staying there. As time went by, the two RV Gypsies learned that there were not enough Thousand Trails campgrounds throughout the USA to make the membership fees worth it. But they did enjoy it for a few years. |
