SPECIAL COMMENTS & PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS OF THE TWO RV GYPSIES

Lake Bomoseen KOA was a nicely laid out campground with wonderful gravel roads and nicely gravel sites. The two RV Gypsies liked their site. Even though the road was not far away, there was no road noise like in many other campgrounds. It was not a heavily traveled road.

The campground flyer said that they are on a 1400 foot lake front on a quiet cove. No rules were given to the two RV Gypsies when they checked in, just a one-page flyer with their name, address, phone number, and campground map. The two RV Gypsies' toad broke down on their first day here, so they only got to wander into the town of Killington one day. The other two days were spent figuring out how to get help to fix their truck. Cell phones did NOT work in the campground.

The 50 amp sites were pull-though's but did not have sewers. The 30 amp sites did have sewers. The park had cable, but still, only four (4) TV stations came in on the TV of the two RV Gypsies. The campground did have Wi-Fi but it was unsecured. Sometimes the Wi-Fi came in good, and other times it was excruciatingly slow. This was a slow week-end here, with almost no other RV's in the campground. The water pressure was poor.
