The two RV Gypsies parked their RV at Forest Lake Preserve (a Thousand Trails campground) 192 Thousand Trails Drive Advance, North Carolina 27006 August 3-5, 2014 |
Below: The new yard of the two RV Gypsies. Dirt / gravel roads got the RV and toad dusty. |

Two views of the adult only pool - there was also a family pool. Both pools closed at 8 P.M. The two RV Gypsies did not use the pool, as usual, but might have since it was an adult only pool, except that it closed way too early. Karen sometimes likes to photograph parts of the campgrounds for future reference. |

The Chapel: Worship service is held during summer months. |

The sand beach, pond and fishing pier - but the water did not look very clean. |
|
This was a nice campground and it had an adequate amount of 50-amp full hookups, and good water pressure. No cable TV, but some channels came in OK with antenna. Wi-Fi only available at the two lodges, not at sites. But the two RV Gypsies had their own Wi-Fi. Check-in and check-out time was noon, excluding major holiday weekends. Guests must pay a $5 fee. No personal mail accepted at office. |
This is not a linear site, so there are always choices of where to go next: Below are two choices. |
