Below: The welcoming gateway was draped in Ficus Pumila. At the base, multiple coleus varieties provide vibrant pops of color and texture. Variegated sweet potato vine with various sedges crown the top and cascades over the edges.

Below: Ali's Banana Boy, The Hanging Monkey (a 3-foot bundle of fun) and Coco, The Funky Monkey (a 2-foot tall charmer). They each feature a coat of Hemigraphis Repanda. Coco Palm fiber covers their hands, feet, tail and mischievous faces.

Below: At 6-feet tall, this T-Rex was awesome. This king of the dinosaurs is cloaked in creeping fig with a mouthful of pink baromeliads, giving him a menacing smile. Rattail crassula cascaded down his back.

Below: Emmett, The Citadel Bulldog has four feet of determination and is clad in creeping fig, He is ready to represent the Military College of South Carolina. He wears a signature Citadel Hat and spiked collar.

Below: This custom-built 4.5 scale jeep is on a topiary safari. Its tires feature Dragon's Tongue, creeping fig, clubmoss, and Selaginelia Kraussiana. Palm fiber creates a cool interior. A layer of creeping fig wraps the grill and roof with red and yellow alternanthera forming the side panels.

Mr. D The Tiger is 14-feet tall and 17 feet long. He is sculptured from hand-painted palm fiber and proudly at the edge of a cascading waterfall. Beneath his mighty paws lies a meadow of coleus and zinnias.

Below: Milak, The Mama Elephant stands proud at 12-feet tall in her favorite blooms. Her form is wrapped in creeping fig and adorned with a blanket of coleus, ruby red and yellow altermanthera. She watches with a regal air as children play in the Uptown splash pad located just behind her. ( Karen Duquette, "the big kid" also enjoyed the splash pad - which is shown below)

Below: Baron, The Stately Horse stands 8-feet tall (or 24 hands) in an enchanting field of dianthus, feather grass, and yarrow. His shimmering coat is formed from creeping fig, while his magnificent mane and tail of Carex (Red Rooster) ripple in the breeze.
