Frosty's is a family owned Choose and Cut Christmas tree farm, specializing in Fraser Firs since 1960. This is the second year that the two RV Gypsies and family went to Frosty's to buy Christmas trees and wreaths.

As people arrived at Frosty's, everyone was greeted and informed about the procedure of how to choose a tree, and then given measuring poles and a tree tag for whatever trees they found. Then everyone climbed the big hill to find the tree of their choice and size. Once the tree is chosen, everyone holds their measuring pole high up above the tree top level, and a worker comes and cuts down the tree.

But first, the two RV Gypsies and family went upstairs to see Santa Claus. He was not there last year, so this was a special treat.

Then it was time to get ready for the hay ride up the mountain to choose their Christmas trees.

When the workers cut down a Christmas tree for customers, a piece of the tree is cut from each tree bought and later, workers burn Frosty's name onto the pieces. Below is a photo of the oven for burning Frosty's name into a piece of the tree.

Below: On the way home, Karen Duquette took a picture through the window of the car because she thought the black clouds looked like an angel flying. But she did not really capture the moment very well, as the both the cloud and the car were moving. But she still likes the photo.
