Frosty's is a family owned Choose and Cut Christmas tree farm, specializing in Fraser Firs since 1960. |
|
When the two RV Gypsies and family arrived at Frosty's, they were greeted and informed about the procedure of how to choose a tree. They were given measuring poles and a tree tag for whatever trees they found. Then they enjoyed the hayride to the designated cutting location of the day. |

Below: Enjoying
the hayride. BUT, maybe Alex did not enjoy his Grandfather sitting on
his lap! (Note: He did this just for fun. There was plenty of space
on the hayride because they limited the amount of people on the hayride
due to social distancing.) |

Below: Arriving
at the field with thousands of Christmas trees, everyone began their
quest to find the perfect Christmas tree. |

|
Below: Lee Duquette
quickly found the tree that he liked and raised the green end of his
pole to signal someone to come and cut down the tree. His great-grandson,
Anthony, approved of the tree. |

Below: Renee and John Smythers also found their perfect tree. |

The tree cutter
took a photo of the two RV Gypsies and their family with their trees
in the field. |
|
Then the two RV Gypsies and family took the hayride back down the hill and paid for the trees at Frosty's barn. Their trees were baled and put on a trailer and taken to the loading area for pick up. |

Below: Everyone shopped at the Christmas shop and also bought some hot chocolate.
|
|
Below: Workers burned the words "Frosty's 2020" into their
"tree trunk souvenir" that is actually a piece cut off
of the trunk of the Christmas tree that they bought. It will always
hang on Lee and Karen's Duquette's Christmas tree. |

|
|
Then John drove his truck to the loading area, where a worker came to collect
their pay stub; locate, load and tie the two trees in the bed of the
truck. Then the family drove to a restaurant before driving two hours
back home with their trees. Everything was very organized and safe,
despite the Covid times. |
