The Two
RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers |
Below Karen Duquette made a collage of the signs seen in multiple spots during this trip. The winds were extremely strong during this drive, especially because they were in an RV. |

Below: Karen Duquette photographed "The Thing" sign because the two RV Gypsies were there in 2009. If you go inside "The Thing" building using this 2009 link, be sure to return here afterwards, via the link at the bottom of that page. |

Benson I-10 RV Park
|
This RV park had a very small office. The roads were hard-packed gravel. Sites were partial gravel and dirt with clumps of weeds and a small patio and a picnic table. Trains came by quite frequently and were very loud. Cable TV was provided with lots of channels. The bathroom buildings were locked. Wi-Fi was available at sites, but it cost $2.95 for one day, or &7.95 for 3-days, or $13.95 for one week, $21.95 for two weeks, or $34.95 for a month. The two RV Gypsies had their own Wi-Fi that worked just fine. Only modern, full self-contained RVs allowed. The park reserves the right to refuse admission of vehicles not meeting park standards. There is a no refund policy. There was a laundry room, but the two RV Gypsies did not check to see if it was open. No pool, hot tub, or recreation room. Check out time 11 a.m. Late Departure Fee $10. |
