Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre offers a very extensive ski and snowboard school with certified instructors. Snowflex is a synthetic material designed to simulate the slip and grip effects of snow. A patented misting system keeps the surface moist, maximizing speed and edge control. Snowflex retains its shape year-round so riders can progressively sharpen their technique on its various contours. Unlike previous terrain technologies, Snowflex has multiple layers to cushion skiers and snow-boarders if they fall. However, when the two RV Gypsies were here, there was NOT any snow. |

MOVING walkways up to the top of the mountain. |

of spinning around 360 degrees while going down the track at
Snowflex. Lee Duquette filmed from the bottom. |

There is a video of Lee Duquette flying
down the slope, and plowing into Karen Duquette as she was videotaping
him. The accident turned Karen's leg all black and blue. Lee was lucky
he did not fly off of the mountain. People were commenting on how fast
Lee was going, but while looking in the camera's viewing lens, Karen
just did not realize how close he was getting to her and could not move
out of the way. (It had started sprinkling a light rainfall and the
track got too slick, causing Lee to speed). The video can be found by
using the TOC button below and choosing "Videos"
located in the main menu at the bottom of most pages. But first, finish
scrolling down this page to see the area that finally stopped Lee Duquette
from going over the edge of the cliff. |

stopper at the bottom of the mountain that saved Lee Duquette from going
over the edge when his tube did not stop at the bottom of the track.
Bet this was not the first time someone did not stop. |

Is
this supposed to encourage or discourage people from trying this attraction?
Maybe the red and blue stopper was not around when this dude went tubing. |
