The
Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers entered North Carolina and stopped for lunch and to "smell the flowers" August 3, 2014 |
The two RV Gypsies stopped at the North Carolina Welcome Center. There were lots of parking spots for cars, but only a few spots big enough for their RV and toad. They did find a spot, but had a bit of trouble getting into the spot because they had to maneuver around a small pick-up truck that was in a big RV spot, even though there were plenty of car parking spots. Just for something to do, Karen Duquette photographed the pick-up truck and then the driver drove away, giving Karen a look as Karen took a picture of the driver and the truck. Guess some people think they are special. |

Below: Karen Duquette spent time photographing a few flowers, while Lee Duquette took a much needed break from driving. |
|
Below: Then the two RV Gypsies drove their RV out of the Welcome Center and across the street and up the hill to "Grannys Kitchen" for a late lunch. The food was OK but nothing special. The server was polite. Karen Duquette liked the coffee sign on the wall, so of course she photographed it. |
|
Below: Back in the restaurant parking lot, there were two semi-trucks, each probably hauling a race car. In case you have not figured it out yet, Karen Duquette photographs anything she can. |
