The
Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers and family stopped at Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid 1 Bass Pro Drive Memphis, Tennessee |
This is a large pyramid, 321 feet tall. The two RV Gypsies and family enjoyed walking around the large, wilderness-themed displays. The pyramid also hosts a hotel, an indoor man-made swamp, a restaurant, a bowling alley, a very tall elevator, an aquarium and more. |
Below: Karen Duquette warned her family to run from the bear. But they only laughed at her. |
Below: Because Seth was raised on a farm, he knew how to make friends with the bear, while family took photos. |
Below: Karen, Lee, Lou, Gabby, and Seth Duquette ate at Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill inside the pyramid. The server was happy, fun, and efficient. The food was okay, but nothing special. The chicken sandwiches were very dry, and the hamburger was overcooked even though they said they would cook it to order. Food for the five of them cost $100. A bit pricey for that quality of food. However, the restaurant's decor was nice. And the family being together was wonderful. |
