Below: People from the park
formed a parade, mostly so they could carry signs about the upcoming
activities in the park. Of course, the signs were all in French. They
tossed out some candy canes and Anthony caught a lot of the candy canes. |

Karen Duquette went to a party
and got first prize for the most creative costume. The tree hat, blouse
and skirt each had a string of Christmas lights. Everyone took photos
of Karen all throughout the evening, even if they did not know her. |

Karen Duquette also went to
a "ugly Christmas sweater" party and had the best
sweater there too, but actually it was the hat that everyone really
loved. Again, the sweater had lots of lights plus a reindeer head with
a big red nose that lit up, plus a tiny Santa Claus head inside a big
Mrs. Claus dress. Karen worked very hard decorating the sweater and
all. |

Mrs. Claus at a line dance party, just as she does every year. |

Every year Lee Duquette gets
a T-shirt. It began with his granddaughter, then his granddaughter and
grandson, then his great-grandson, and now his great-grandson and great-granddaughter.
He is blessed. No, Karen Duquette does not get andy t-shirts. |
