Oscoda Township Beach Park is located along several hundred feet of gently sloping sugar sand; the park offers modern playground equipment, basketball court, skateboard park, bathhouses, grills, picnic tables, bandshell and a boardwalk. With many large shade trees, the park is ideal for kids of all ages and is just two blocks from downtown Oscoda. |

Walking to the left, the two RV Gypsies arrived at the pier. They were not surprised that the area was under video monitoring. This seems to be common in so many places. |

It is a designated a National Scenic Byway. The Lumberman's Monument, Canoer's Memorial, Iargo Springs, and Foote Pond Scenic Overlook are all attractions off of the River Road Scenic Byway. |
