The two RV Gypsies' Christmas tree is also a Travel Tree. Every place the two RV Gypsies travel, they try to buy something for the tree that can hang and says where they went, even though this is not always possible. The angel on top of the tree is from previous years when Karen Duquette's theme was homemade items only. The tree is placed on the steering wheel of the RV. (Note: Eventually this tree became way too small and the two RV Gypsies had to buy a much bigger tree to fit all of the travel ornaments, as seen in future pages.) The tree skirt was made by Karen's sister, Ilse Blahak.

Below; Every year, Lee Duquette gets a shirt with a photo of his grandchildren. This year's star is Lee's great-grandson, Anthony Rosenthal because Lee's grandchildren are now adults.

Below: The grandchildren of the two RV Gypsies got to open gifts while others had to work in the kitchen. Karen Duquette took photos - that was her only duty, so of course, she does not get in photos very often.

Below: As each person's name was pulled from a bucket by Tim O'Keefe, they came forward and got a candy cane, plus a kiss or hug from either Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus. Then they went to the table and chose a surprise wrapped Christmas gift. Of course, Mrs. Claus even gets a gift IF there is one left over. There are usually about 25 people at the party.
