The two RV Gypsies |
Below: A very windy, narrow, dirt road which barely fits two cars passing each other. Luckily, the two RV Gypsies did not meet another car on this 7-mile twisty road which got much narrower than the photo below shows and often had ditches on the side of the road. They did not follow the GPS direction when leaving Mount Mitchell State Park because they did not want to drive this road again. It was impossible to see if a car was coming around any of the corners. |

Below: The view of Mt. Mitchell was lost in the fog. The weather changed from fog to clear, and from cloudy to sunny, quite often during the day. |

Below: The two RV Gypsies ate at the Mt. Mitchell Restaurant and had a nice table by the window. The food was good, but all of the food was cold. Food was served on paper plates with plastic forks. |
