The Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers
enjoyed the view from
Foote Pond Scenic Overlook
in Michigan
June 15, 2013

The two RV Gypsies followed the gentle curves of the Au Sable River which runs through forests along the River Road National Scenic Byway. The 22-mile drive from Oscoda was lovely, and the two RV Gypsies got out of their truck often to really experience the beauty of the area.

Foote Pond Scenic Overlook (5 miles west of Oscoda): A sand dune cascades below a stone overlook less than 100 yards from the parking lot. The two RV Gypsies enjoyed perching on the ledge soaking in panoramic views of the river and birds reeling overhead.
