The Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers
loved  Roosters
7370 West Atlantic Boulvevard
Margate, FL 33063

The two RV Gypsies have eaten at Roosters in Margate, Florida on many occasions throughout the years. Their family members have also eaten at Roosters many times. It is a very casual restaurant. It is a type of sports bar with several TVs all on different stations plus a radio station or music playing, so it is not quiet. The air conditioning usually makes it a bit cool in the restaurant, so Karen Duquette always brought a sweater inside the restaurant, as she does at most restaurants. (Love south Florida - sweaters are worn inside, but not outside - as a general rule anyway.)

There are a few tables outside the door on the sidewalk, but pedestrians do walk through that dining area very near the tables. Florida restaurants do not allow smoking inside, so smokers sit outside.

Most of the time Karen Duquette orders the medium buffalo chicken thumbs (boneless chicken cooked the same way buffalo wings are cooked). It is one of the few restaurants that has a medium buffalo sauce. Most restaurants only have mild or hot buffalo sauce.

Lee Duquette usually gets regular wings in butter. Karen Duquette thinks that is strange. Karen likes Roosters buffalo thumbs better than any boneless buffalo chicken she has eaten anywhere else in the USA. Their onion rings and mozzarella sticks are also good. Many family members have eaten here and everyone loves it. Karen will surely miss this place while she travels the country in her RV.

The above comments are just the experience of the two RV Gypsies. These comments do not make the restaurant good or bad in general.
