Golden Girls Restaurant was a family type,
sort-of diner type place in Clinton, Tennessee. It was full of patrons,
mostly local people, so they must like the food. But the two RV Gypsies
were not impressed with the food. The sausage patty Lee Duquette had
was hard as a hockey puck, but the rest of his breakfast was OK.
Karen Duquette had roast beef and gravy. The roast beef was very tender,
but also very bland. The gravy was also bland. The fried okra was over-cooked
and had so much fried crumbs on it, the okra couldn't even be tasted.
Service was OK. The prices were very reasonable, not at all expensive. |
