The two RV Gypsies and family ate
at Mellow Mushroom on Main Street
in Blowing Rock, NC

Mellow Mushroom claims to make the best pizza in Blowing Rock, North Carolina and that it is a favorite among locals in Boone, Banner Elk, and the surrounding areas and serves a one of a kind pizza pie. They serve stone-baked pizzas, munchies, calzone, salad, hoagie and even a burger. Plus 24 draft beers or tasty, handcrafted cocktails. Many of their pizzas can be made gluten-free or vegan.

All twelve of the two RV Gypsies' family members enjoyed their food on this date.

The interior of the restaurant offers playful reminders that the building used to serve as a filling station, including license-plate light fixtures and a classic gas pump. Plush booths, vaulted ceilings, and large windows create a comfortable atmosphere. Stone floors and columns offer a cool contrast to the warm wood accents, rounding out the design
