May 29, 2012 - Today the two RV Gypsies ate at Jethro 'n Jake's Smokehouse Steaks in Altoona, Iowa.

unhappy faceIt is not a restaurant that the two RV Gypsies would ever return to. The food was plentiful, but most everything was "smoked". The food was not satisfying. Shredded BBQ pork came out dry, no sauce on it at all. Although there were six different types of BBQ sauces on the table, they were all specialty sauces and the two RV Gypsies just wanted a standard, regular BBQ sauce. The hot cole slaw seemed to be only cooked red cabbage.

The above comments are just the experience of the two RV Gypsies. These comments do not make the restaurant good or bad in general.
