Before riding the Palm Springs Aerial Tram, food was a must
stop, so Charlotte's was in order. When the two RV Gypsies first walked
into the restaurant, they were greeted by a very friendly and polite lady
who showed them to their seats. But it seemed strange that they were the only
customers in the restaurant. The decor was also strange - because it did
not all match. The tables had a black tablecloth covered by a white tablecloth.
The chairs were red and gold, but the chairs at each table were a bit different.
There were also a few high-top round tables. The ceiling was painted like
the sky. Drapes were gold with pale blue shears. The piano was red and blue.
Enough about the decor.
After the food was ordered but had not yet arrived,
a lady and child walked in, sat down, and immediately got food. The two RV Gypsies soon
realized that she was with the band that had come in shortly after the two RV Gypsies arrived. Then the band started playing although the two RV Gypsies and Karen's sister
were the only customers. The band was quite enjoyable. As the band left,
they said, "Thank you for listening to out practice session."
The server
then came to the table of the two RV Gypsies and explained that in addition to being the server, she was also cooking the food and asked for
patience because she wanted the food to be fresh and properly cooked. When
the food came, all three meals were absolutely excellent, although it was
a limited menu.
The two RV Gypsies highly recommend this restaurant, however,
it must be noted that there was a "restaurant for lease" sign outside, so things will probably change. |
