Below: Because the two RV Gypsies could see for many miles ahead and there were so many curves, it often looked like the road just disappears.

Below: According to the sign below, if you are driving slowly and there are 5 vehicles or more behind you, you MUST use a turnout and let the cars pass. But most of the turnouts were too small for the two RV Gypsies to pull into, and that was okay because Lee Duquette was driving the speed limit.
