      Rocky
Point State Park is a state park on Narragansett Bay in Warwick,
Rhode Island. The land has been a public attraction since the mid-1800s,
most notably as Rocky Point Amusement Park. When the amusement
park closed in 1994, it sat abandoned for years until the city and state
purchased the land in stages between 2008 and 2013. It reopened to the
public as a state park in October 2014. |

      Below: When first entering
the park, there were a couple of large informative signs, so of course,
Karen Duquette photographed them. Karen Duquette really wishes that
people would not write on signs nor deface them in any manner. |

just a glob of personal photos. She also includes as much basic history
and other information as possible, wherever she can, plus links to corresponding
          websites. |

      Below: Karen Duquette's hat
kept blowing off of her head. So Lee Duquette picked up her hat and
put it on his head and strangely enough, the hat did NOT blow off his
head. But the wind sure did blow Karen's hair into her face, and the
wind even exploded her outfit. |

Lee Duquette did not go anywhere near the water. |
