After driving through the housing neighborhood of Vogel Springs, the paved road in the housing area turned abruptly into to a very curvy, lengthy, bumpy dirt / gravel road, making it a bit tricky.

The two RV Gypsies found a few parking spaces near the Helton Creek Falls sign.

Leaning over the side of the trail shown below on the right, Karen Duquette got a glimpse of the waterfall through the trees. Notice the stumps and natural obstacles in the path.

The hike was a fairly easy 0.3 mile hike, but there were many abrupt changes in grade along the short walk. PLUS, caution had to be taken with each step, due to stumps and various obstacles of nature on the trail.
