A masked surfer got unveiled and his identity revealed - Surprise -
It is Lee Duquette. |

The two RV Gypsies stopped
at Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach to eat because they wanted to see
the Big Blender show. |
|
|
Margaritaville is a restaurant
paying tribute to Jimmy Buffett and has a really big blender! There
is supposed to be a show every hour where a huge bottle of liquor makes
a smoking pitcher of margaritas while stilt walkers urge you to get
up and sing about your "lost shaker of salt." However, the two RV Gypsies
were there before and on the hour mark and there was no show. They did
not inquire about it because Lee Duquette said they must have just missed
it. But Karen Duquette knew they were there in plenty of time. |

|
Below: The inside was quite
crowded so the two RV Gypsies sat outside and had some appetizers, and
of course, Karen Duquette had a margarita. |

Below: As the two RV Gypsies
enjoyed their food, they also enjoyed watching the Ferris Wheel change
colors, and the sunset was beautiful, |

Below: The two RV Gypsies
ate at Benjamin's and Karen Duquette only took a couple of pictures
inside the restaurant. It was a seafood buffet, and although there were
lots of choices, the food was cold by the time it was walked back to
the table. Because of the Coronavirus, everyone had to wear the plastic
gloves provided by the restaurant, plus their face mask, unless seated
at their own table. |

Below: "Tommy"
at the Giant Crab Restaurant. Tommy is 25 feet tall, 35 feet wide, and
weighs 4.5 tons. He was named for the restaurant's owner. With cartoon
eyes, dimpled cheeks, and a saucy sailor's cap, he appears to be saluting
customers as they enter. Tommy snidely said "Hope you enjoy tearing
off my family's legs!"
A tastefully small sign on the awning beneath Tommy's chin,
identifies him as "the World's Largest Crab". He
is such an overwhelming presence that the two RV Gypsies did not even
notice that the restaurant was flanked by a 50-foot-tall fake lighthouse
on one side and a fully rigged life-size fake ship on the other side.
(Oops - the two RV Gypsies did not go to the side of the building -
shame on them). |

|
Below: Captain Jack's Restaurant
also had an interesting outside. The two RV Gypsies did not eat there
either because Lee Duquette is not a big seafood eater. Plus, none of
the seafood places had lobster on their buffet, which is Karen Duquette's
favorite seafood. |

were lots of strange signs all over the area. Karen Duquette only photographed
a few of them. |
