The two RV Gypsies and family at Sea Life Aquarium
8111 Concord Mills Boulevard
in Concord, NC 28027
(Cabarrus County)
July 23, 2020

historySea Life Charlotte-Concord is an interactive aquarium located inside the Concord Mills mall in Concord, North Carolina, a suburb of Charlotte. The aquarium contains thousands of aquatic creatures, and a 360 degree view ocean tunnel. The interactive touch pools were closed on this date due to the Coronavirus.

Sea Life Charlotte-Concord is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments. It is not a very large aquarium. The children were all given a log book to help them explore. The admission price included going in and out of the aquarium multiple times on the same date. This was nice because it allowed the two RV Gypsies and their family to take a break for lunch at the food court inside the mall.

Sea Life has successfully bred and reared nine species of Seahorse, helping prevent the breeds from becoming extinct. This means that no Seahorses will ever be taken from the wild for their exhibitions, and they may be able to resupply Seahorses if they become extinct in the wild.

Below: Fish and other sea critters, including jellyfish, stingrays, turtles and the many tunnels and coves to get a closer look at the marine life. Everyone enjoyed going thru the 180 degree underwater tunnel and seeing the sharks and fish swim all around us. The petting and touching areas in the aquarium were closed due to the Coronavirus.
