This was the ninth
time that the two RV Gypsies have been on a Segway tour, and as always,
it was a wonderful experience, although maybe not their best one. Everyone
had to go through training no matter how many times they have ridden
on a Segway, and the training here was more extensive than many of the
other places the two RV Gypsies have been to, so they did not mind the
training. The two RV Gypsies believe that no one should ever have too
much confidence on a Segway.
This 2-hour tour took the two RV Gypsies through the Rose Garden, one of the most beautiful places in Duluth and through Leif Erikson Park. Then they glided through paved trails along the lake front with views of the lake while being envied by pedestrians and bicyclists. Along the way, Matthew kept the two RV Gypsies up-to-date on the history of Duluth, through the use of headphones.
This page has pictures of the two RV Gypsies on their Segways, and this page is simply to show the fun of being on a Segway. For more pictures and information about the City of Duluth, use the link at the bottom of this page. Many of those photos were also taken while on the Segway tour, but they are more about Duluth. |
