Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers |
|
Minot (MY-not) is a city located in north central North Dakota. It is most widely known for the Air Force base located approximately 15 miles north of the city. Minot is the fourth largest city in the state. The city is a trading center for a large portion of northern North Dakota, southwestern Manitoba, and southeastern Saskatchewan. Founded in 1886 during the construction of the Great Northern Railway, Minot is also known as "Magic City", commemorating its remarkable growth in size over a short time. |
Below: The two RV Gypsies walked over a bridge and took photos of the river which was coated with green algae. Even the empty water bottle floated on top of the algae. (Note: the two RV Gypsies were NOT the ones who threw the water bottle there). |
