The entrance/exit - as seen leaving the campground in 2015 -
no more green grass, no more golf course, no flowers. The mountain is still there, of course!

2015 Comments: The road was paved, but the site was a mixture of gravel and dirt with a few clumps of grass. There was NO TV at all. No Wi-Fi unless you buy it for $12 for three days, which the two RV Gypsies did. But it did not work all that well. Rules said no site saving, yet several spots had reserved signs on them. Sites were 15 amp and 30 amp, and the two RV Gypsies were lucky enough to get the last open site with a sewer. Sites must be occupied at night. They do check. Pool was open but the adult hour was at a weird time. (The two RV Gypsies did not use the pool). Mail received at the office were charged and extra $2 per package by the park. Check out time noon for RV, 11 a.m. for rentals. |

In 2015, this was the nosiest campground
the two RV Gypsies have ever stayed at. It was not like this when they
were here in 2009. There were lots of young children (which is not unusual
at campgrounds) but this time they were all running around the place in
big groups, totally unsupervised. Even children that appeared to be only
3 or 4 years of age were running around or riding a small bicycle with
no adult with them at all,. The screaming and yelling and noisy playful
sounds of the kids went on all day long and into the evening, non-stop.
Now the two RV Gypsies do not have anything against children having fun,
but this was way over the top. Where the heck were the parents of the
really young ones? Just because they are in a campground, does not mean
they are safe from stranger danger or other things. Kids and adults as
well, walked through occupied campsites. Quiet time was 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. |
