The
Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers |
Artillery Ridge Camping Resort was a Passport America park, located near Gettysburg Military National Park. There was a horse trail from the campground to the National Park. The roads past the office were dirt roads, which is standard in most campground. The campground Wi-Fi was free, but unsecured and extremely slow. Very few TV stations came in and ABC was NOT one of them. The water pressure was poor. Check-in time was 3 p.m. and check-out time was 1 p.m. on this date. Most of their rules were standard campground rules. It was a good size campground with nice sites, and nice people working in the office. This is a National Historic Site and metal detectors were prohibited. As usual, the two RV Gypsies did not spend much time in the campground using amenities other than their own site. |

Below: The two RV Gypsies liked their end site, although it was only 30 amp. They did not like the dirt road; see photo below. They had a nice view of the empty tent area from the front of their RV, and a view of the laundromat from the side window. |
|
Below: Lee Duquette took a photo of a great image on the building, and he liked the name of one of the roads. Wonder why? |

Below: A nice pond and water fountain in the campground. |
