Karen Duquette could not get a good photo of the entry sign because of the fence. Notice the big cannon behind the sign. |

Chestnut Lake RV Campgrounds
is a Thousand Trails membership campground. The roads and sites had
nice gravel so vehicles did not get too dusty. The site of the two RV
Gypsies was barely long enough for their 40-foot RV and toad. They had
to park their toad sideways, which is not uncommon. The pool was very
small, but that does not matter to the two RV Gypsies because they seldom
use pools at campgrounds, or most of the other amenities either. It
is just a place to park their big Rv while they explore the area in
their toad (tow car). The water pressure was good, and the cable brought
in plenty of TV stations. No Wi-Fi at this campground, but the two RV
Gypsies had their own Wi-Fi. |
