The two RV Gypsies ate at
restaurants in Charleston and Mt. Pleasant
June 2, 2017

The two RV Gypsies had lunch at the Fleet Landing Restaurant and Bar, 186 Concord St, Charleston SC.

Karen Duquette had the Pan Sauteed Lump Crab Cake Sandwich with shaved red onion, arugula, tomato and red pepper remoulade plus some mixed vegetables. $12.99. It was very good.

Lee Duquette ordered the swordfish special. But when he got his meal, it was an under cooked mahi. When he sent it back, the manager came over and said they ran out of swordfish and made the substitution. Well, they should tell customers that before they serve the substitution. Lee then ordered a medium rare hamburger that came out well done, but he ate it. The manager gave the two RV Gypsies a free desert.

The two RV Gypsies sat outside and had a nice view of the pier they were on earlier. They ordered the Charleston Shrimp and Grits; Andoville sausage, white grits, shrimp, shrimp gravy, sweet peppers. $25 - They were going to split it, so the photo below is just Karen's share. Karen loved it, but Lee did not, so Karen ate her share and took Lee's share home for later. Lee really wasn't hungry because he had an ice cream and a milk shake earlier.
