The two RV Gypsies parked their RV at the Dayton Tall Timbers Resort KOA campground in Brookville, Ohio for two days, but they did not explore the campground. Karen Duquette took two photos that are shown above as they were checking in at the office.
This KOA had gravel roads, as do most KOA campgrounds. They charged $50 a night, which is higher than other KOA's the two RV Gypsies have stayed at. On top of that, they charged $4 a night extra for 50-amp service.
The site the two RV Gypsies parked on was a nice long pull-thru site with a fire pit and a concrete patio which was nice, but as usual, there was not much space in-between RVs. The sewer connection for the next RV was right next to the picnic table of the two RV Gypsies, which is disgusting, but not unusual. Luckily, the two RV Gypsies never eat outside at their picnic table.
The pool looked like it was nice though. The water pressure could have been better, but it was OK. TV had several channels and they came in nicely. The campground had unsecured Wi-Fi that came in at the two RV Gypsies site, but it was a bit slow. The brochure they gave to the two RV Gypsies at check-in gave a lot of information about tents, cabins, schedule of events, rules, local attractions, park activities, and of course advertisers. Check out time was NOON. |
