Lee and Karen Duquette
sold their house in Florida and bought a 40-foot RV to travel in so they could "hit-the-road" full-time. (some photos were taken on the date of purchase, but copied many years after purchase, so they are a bit blurred) |

Below: How full-time
RVing began for Lee and Karen Duquette: |
|
Below: Karen Duquette drove the RV to Markham Park, where they lived in their RV until it was time to actually hit the road. Karen had already retired from her job, but Lee had not done so yet. They bought eyeballs as a sunscreen for the front window of their RV. |

Below: Karen wanted their orange HHR that they tow behind their RV to have stripes that match the RV. It got a lot of attention once they really started traveling. They also bought tiger eyes as a sheild for their front window. |

Below: They also bought covers to protect their RV tires from the Florida sun. They named the RV "AWO" which stands for "All We Own". |

Photos shown below were taken on various dates. |
|
Karen Duquette photographed how the driver and passenger seats turn around to view the rest of the inside of the RV when the RV is parked. There were lots of cabinets overhead, as well as on overhead on the left side of the RV. Lots of storage inside the RV and outside in the bins. |

Since the RV has become the ONLY home for Lee and Karen Duquette, they filled it up with their personal belongings. (They sold their house and most of the stuff they had inside the house just after they bought the RV and became known as "The Two RV Gypsies."Below: The view from middle of the RV, Looking forward toward the front of the RV, which is also shown above. |

Below: The kitchen area (the microwave did NOT come with the RV - but Lee Duquette bought the microwave to put on the shelf that was there originally). As seen in the photo with Lee Duquette, the gray tray under the counter top pulls out for use so silverware can go in the top drawer, and the cabinet under the drawer opens to store small stuff. From the side of the pull-out cabinet, bigger stuff can be stored. |

The counter top shown above lifts off, so the oven burners can be used. |

Below: Across from the photos above, was the dining table with three nice windows to enjoy the view. (But people can not see in from outside, as the windows are tinted). To the right of the dining table, there was a full-size refrigerator with freezer and ice make, plus two pull-out pantry areas. (plus the narrow hallway leading to the bathroom area). This area had a big slide-out on BOTH the kitchen and the dining side, which gave plenty of room to walk through when the RV was parked. When driving, the slide-outs had to be in, of course. |

Below: Going past the kitchen area shown above, there was a narrow hallway leading to the bathroom area, with the shower, sink, mirror, and storage cabinet under the sink. The toilet area and more storage cabinets were in this section, but behind a door for privacy. So after using the bathroom, you had to open the door to get to the sink. |

|
Below: A small TV with a storage
area behind the TV, plus two drawers a cabinet under the TV. The TV could
be enjoyed while laying on the bed. There was also a shelf under the window.
The shelf could be lifted up to store stuff underneath. |

Below: On the side of the bed at the back of the RV, there was a washer-dryer combination with doors to cover it when not in use. Above the washer-dryer was storage area.To the right of the washer-dry there was a closet with two full--size mirrors, that slid from side to side so stuff in the closet could be reached. |
|

|
Below: On the other side of the bedroom, was the bed. The closet mentioned above was on the left side of the bed. This room also had pull-outs both on the bedroom side and across from it. So it was plenty roomy when parked. |

And they got a Florida license plate for their RV that says AWO MOB. AWO stands for "All We Own" and MOB "stands for "My Orange |

What makes Lee and Karen Duquette good RVers! They do not have much money, just enough to get by, and not many possessions (just the RV, the tow Car and necessities inside). But they do have a lot of love and respect for each other, and they love travel, the outdoors, meeting new people, and having fun! A great lifestyle except for missing family when they travel. |
