(This is the two RV Gypsies 10th zipline experience)

Upstate Zipline is South Carolina's newest and biggest zipline (as of this date) located in beautiful Keowee-Toxaway State Park. This was the 10th time that the two RV Gypsies have experienced a zipline, although Karen Duquette did a few other ziplines without Lee Duquette while on cruises with her friends.

IMPORTANT Everyone MUST arrive 30 minutes before their appointed start time or they will forfeit their spots on the tour with NO REFUNDS. Upon arrival, everyone gets suited up into their safety gear and helmets, and given a lot of safety tips.

Upstate Zipline provided the opportunity for the two RV Gypsies to once again experience the thrill of flying through the treetops, this time for a total of about 1.5 miles. And also on this tour, they flew on 10 different ziplines and over one big lake. There was also one suspended wooden planked bridge.

The company does not take and sell photos, but Karen and Lee Duquette took some of each other. Also the guides were kind enough to take a few photos as well.

Below: Karen Duquette really hated the one wooden-plank bridge that moved. So she took her time getting across. Since she went first over the bridge, and admitted that this was something she did not like, everyone cheered for her when she arrived at the other side of the bridge. Nobody took a photo of her on the bridge. And actually, this was not the worse bridge she ever crossed on a zipline because some of them were roped-bottom bridges that were much worse.

The Nickell family has been in the zipline industry for over 15 years. The guides, Eva and David, are a mother and son team. Eva hooked everyone up onto the zipline and sent them on their way, while David was the one catching and stopping people as they arrived at the next tree. They were both friendly people who knew how to do their job well. They made sure everyone was safe and had a good time. The two RV Gypsies thank them both, and Lee gave them a generous tip, as always does.
