The two RV Gypsies
Below: First, the two RV Gypsies drove their toad on the road over the Catwalk. The roadway of the New River Gorge Bridge is 876 feet above the New River, making it the fifth highest vehicular bridge in the world, and the second highest in the Americas. When it opened in 1977, the New River Gorge Bridge was the highest vehicular bridge in the world, a record it kept until 2004. |
Below: New signs that were not here when the two RV Gypsies first visited in 2011. The National Park and Preserve encompasses more than 70,000 acres of land along the New River, which is one of the oldest rivers in North America. |
Below: Before actually walking on the catwalk, the two RV Gypsies enjoyed views of the bridge itself from the National Park Service Overlook, just as they did in 2011. |

THE TWO RV GYPSIES ARE HOOKED UP AND READY TO DO IT |

Below: The two RV Gypsies took photos of each other on a 24-inch wide catwalk as they prepared, once again, for their adventure 851 feet above the ground. |
For the second time, the two RV Gypsies walked across the New River Gorge on the under-structure of the World famous New River Gorge Arch Bridge in West Virginia - across the canyon on a 24-inch-wide catwalk, 851 feet above the river. | |

Sadly, this adventure for the two RV Gypsies has ended, once again. |

The photos are quite different, and there is more history and facts about the bridge on those pages. There will be a link on the bottom of the 2011 second page that will bring you back to here.ORIf you have seen ALL of the above sites, continue on in the order of travel to Charleston, West Virginia- 2 pages |
