The two RV Gypsies finally reached Destruction Bay RV Campground and spent the night there. Then in the morning, August 12, they continued their drive through the Yukon - back into Whitehorse, Teslin and Watson Lake. |

When the two RV Gypsies reached
Whitehorse on August 12th, they stayed for two days and boondocked behind
the hotel they had stayed at in June, even though they seldom boondock.
Karen Duquette spent the time back at Takhini Hot Springs while Lee
spent time handling business matters over the telephone. |

After relaxing at Takhini
Hot Springs, the two RV Gypsies headed out on August 14th, driving through
Teslin, and stopping at Watson Lake. They spent one night boondocked
in the parking lot behind The Sign Post Forest and they checked on the
sign they had put there in June. Sadly, it was already in need of repair,
so Karen Duquette had to quickly re-do the sign. This time she hope
she has water-proofed the photos. |
