Wildlife in Jasper National Park
Jasper, Alberta, Canada
July 31 - August 2, 2015

Almost as soon as the two RV Gypsies entered the Icefields Parkway, they saw a real big elk on the road. The two RV Gypsies watched it until it went into the woods, but they did not approach it like the two jerks shown below did.

At the turnoff to the campground, a smaller elk crossed the road.

The two RV Gypsies were parked by the side of the road and the elk shown below came and looked right in their car window (which was closed). They were very glad it did not get aggressive because they could not move the car that quickly.

The last time the two RV Gypsies were in Jasper, they saw more deer and more elk in big groups, but they were still thrilled to such big elk on this trip.
