Lee and Karen Duquette,
The Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers
in Seattle, Mount St. Helens, and more
in Washington State, USA
May 13, 2009

Below are photos taken through the window of the RV Gypsies' motorhome while driving from the state of Oregon to the state of Washington to visit Mount St. Helens. It is a great life, being RV Gypsies and getting to see so many wonders of the USA without worrying about any house or apartment anywhere. Their RV is their only home, thus the name the two RV Gypsies.

The nice thing about being RV Gypsies is that Lee and Karen Duquette get to see new scenery all the time and still have their only home and ALL of their belongings with them. So they do not have to worry about a house or apartment anyplace else. But they do miss their family as they travel 9 - 10 months of each year. They always have their own bed, kitchen, and shower, with them and never have to pack and unpack. They pay rent on a campsite in South Florida all year long so that they can return there for a few of the winter months, plus anytime if an emergency with their family should occur.

Below is their new temporary yard in Silver Creek, Washington. How lucky can they be!

Below: The two RV Gypsies got to pick their own site, which is always a nice feature, and does not happen very often in campgrounds. They did not spend much time in the resort, but it seemed to be a nice, quite place. There were some rental trailers in the resort that did not look to be very new from the outside. Some local attractions are; Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Mount Rainier National Park, Northwest Trek - a 435 acre wildlife park with tours on a tram, Mount Rainier Railroad steam powered dinner train, Cowlitz River Salmon Hatchery, and White Pass ski and winter sports area.
