June 23 - 25, 2014 - The two RV Gypsies stopped at the KOA in St. Petersburg. It was a nice campground with limited, but adequate 50-amp full-hookup sites on paved roads. It was a big campground and lots of the sites appeared to be full-timers. It had a nice size pool and a very large hot tub open until 10 p.m., although the two RV Gypsies did not use any amenities other than their site. There was also an "adult only" hot tub located by itself on the other side of the park. Clotheslines were permitted under your own RV awning only. There was free, secured Wi-Fi at sites that was way too slow for the two RV Gypsies to even use. No cable available, but TV via antenna worked well enough. Maximum 6 persons, one camping unit, and one vehicle per site. Fire pits may be requested from the front desk. Most standard campground rules applied.Check out time was 11 a.m. Check in time was 3:00 p.m. All of this information was in effect on this date. |

This is a painting on a KOA RV. It looks dimensional and at first glance, the man in the painting looks like a real person. |

Just over a year has passed - April 2015: The two RV Gypsies arrived at the St. Petersburg Madeira Beach KOA in St. Petersburg, Florida AGAIN. |

Below: The new yard of the two RV Gypsies. The water was evidence of the recent rain, but the big puddle dried up quickly, because there was drainage right in front of the two RV Gypsies site. |

A big bird greeted the two RV Gypsies as they settled into their new yard. |

Below: Two more views of the adult-only hot tub. This one was a bit warmer than the bigger one shown above. There was a sign that said everyone must be out of the hot tub by 10 p.m. or they will be told to leave the campground. |
