Thousand Trails at Cultus Lake was a nice campground for campers. However, it was Victoria Day Holiday and the campground was filled to capacity. Even though the two RV Gypsies had a reservation, the campground was completely full, and so they were put in someone's private annual site because the office knew those people were not coming for the time that the two RV Gypsies were here. Many sites were without sewers. The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. It had a golf course, pool, clubhouse, Wi-Fi and more. The two RV Gypsies never spend much time in any of the campgrounds because they are full-time RVers, not campers and they spend most of their time out of the campground seeing the surrounding areas. In 2009, they were mostly in Vancouver all day and returned to the campground to sleep at night of course.

TV did NOT come in at all via antenna and the park did not have cable. Wi-Fi only available at the pool area. But on this date, the two RV Gypsies purchased Wi-Fi from the office at a cost of $10 for three days. It worked at their site but was super slow. The park is mostly 30 amp, no 50 amp. Not all sites have sewers. The two RV Gypsies were lucky enough to get the last sewer site available in the entire park. Garbage bins have been moved to the back storage area by the dike, but curb side pickup is early each morning. The two RV Gypsies turned off their cell phones or calls would cost them $1 per minute in Canada. Washing vehicles WAS allowed in the park on this date. Sites and roads are dirt and gravel and fairly close to the neighbors.

Campsites must be occupied at night or there is a $32 unattended fee (subject to possible change as time passes). The two RV Gypsies are not sure how they would know if people were in their RVs or not. Not all RVs have a toad. They better not come knocking on the door of the two RV Gypsies, or maybe even other RVs as they never know who has a gun.

On this date, there was a turkey dinner social with a charge for the food of course> But you had to bring your own plate and silverware, so the two RV Gypsies did NOT attend. Also on this date, UPS and FedEx packages could be received at the park for a fee of $2 per package. Quiet hours end at 7 a.m. That's a bit early to hear kids screaming. Get real Thousand Trails on all of the above. Pool open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with adult hours 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. These hours do not suit the two RV Gypsies, and everything mentioned is subject to change.

Checkout time for all sites on this date was NOON and 11 a.m. for all rentals.
